25 years in the Service of Ganga
The year 2007 marks the 25th Anniversary of the Swatcha Ganga (Clean Ganga)
Campaign – one of the longest running, most ambitious and comprehensive
environmental campaigns in the world. For the past 25 years the Sankat Mochan
Foundation have worked perseveringly for the health of River Ganga in Varanasi – with
the key goal of establishing a model for effective and appropriate sewage treatment and
community participation.
On the 3rd and 4th November, on the banks of the Holy Ganga, the Sankat Mochan
Foundation will be hosting a 25th Anniversary Celebration Event. We would like to
extend an invitation for you to join us at this function.
